Orlando, FL — January 21, 2026 — JIRACOR LLC has been selected as a contract holder on the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) SHIELD Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle.
SHIELD — Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense — is an enterprise contracting vehicle established by the Missile Defense Agency to provide MDA and other authorized Department of Defense organizations with a streamlined pathway for rapidly acquiring capabilities across a broad range of technical areas. The SHIELD Multiple Award IDIQ has an overall vehicle ceiling of $151 billion.
The SHIELD vehicle encompasses a broad scope of work areas, including research and development, prototyping, modeling and simulation, systems engineering, integration and assembly, production and fielding, test and evaluation, operations and sustainment, modernization, hardware and software modifications, data analysis, and cybersecurity.
As a SHIELD contract holder, JIRACOR is part of the SHIELD contractor pool and is eligible to compete for applicable task and delivery orders issued under the vehicle. JIRACOR's position on SHIELD provides a contracting pathway through which the company can compete for applicable task and delivery orders aligned with its demonstrated capabilities — including training systems and simulation, lifecycle logistics and sustainment, technical refresh and modernization, systems integration and manufacturing, and engineering and program management services — where those capabilities align with individual SHIELD requirements.
